Description: Offered here is an ink drawing of a scene of village life. In the lower left corner, the drawing is signed, "J. LaLarca Montenegro". It is also dated 1932 and the location, "Temuco", is given. I believe this is a reference to Temuco, now a city in central Chile. I am unsure who the artist is, although there is an Ecuadoran or Peruvian artist named "Julio Montenegro" (1867-1932) who, I suppose, might have created such an image. If there is an eBayer out there who can offer any information, I would appreciate receiving it and will edit this description as needed. The dimensions of this drawing are: width 9 3/4 inch image, 12 3/4 inch sheet; height 7 inch image, 9 7/8 inch sheet. There are traces of red pencil around the outside edge of the image acting as a light frame. This drawing is from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off. Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions". For example, offered maps are of the period.
