Description: 1930's Waffle Set Tray Art Deco Depression Era Batter Pitcher & Syrup Holder ~ Vintage This tray was part of a waffle set that would've been set on the breakfast table, near the waffle maker, holding the batter pitcher and matching syrup jug. This tray has long since been separated from it's mates but if 2 pitchers were found that coordinate with the transferware floral, then VOILA!....you have a waffle set once again. If not, it's the perfect size for serving desserts, appetizers or even placing 2 small dishes on it ( Shown in last photo ---DISHES ARE NOT INCLUDED ) and using it as a relish style tray. In excellent condition for it's age with no chips, cracks or flea bites. Does have a small utensil marked spot. Please see photo #8. Photo #9 shows a blemish in the glaze during manufacture.
