Description: Vintage Carving Set - Classic Design. Mono "L"Up for For Sale is an elegant sterling silver Carving Set; a wedding gift to my parents in 1934.The actual pattern name is unknown; nor is there a manufacturer’s hallmark. The design is a simple, scroll-like return on the handle ends. Both handles are marked sterling. The fork tines and knife blade are marked stainless. There is a fancy "L" mono.The set is a good size for carving a roast or a turkey. The knife is 10¾ inches long and the fork is 9¼ inches long. The very tip of the knife is slightly bent but would not affect its cutting ability. Both are in excellent estate condition (There is no indication they were used very much). They will come polished and in the original box (from R. Lee Stewart, Jeweler in Washington NC). Shipping is USPS economy. Payment via eBay, please.
