Description: 1930s Colorful Scrappy NONESUCH or LOVE RING Quilt 87802 This listing is for a vintage scrappy Nonesuch or Love Ring quilt. Judging by the fabrics used (pastel prints and feedsacks), I would estimate the quilt to have been made during the 1930s. Many of the fabrics are floral. The border is sage green (may look blue-ish in some pics, but it is the 1930s Sage Green). The background, binding, and backing are white. The quilt measures approximately 74" X 94". The small blocks with arcs at one corner are frequently found in the Drunkard's Path configuration. They are approximately 2 1/2" square. The quilt is previously owned. The top appears to have been pieced by hand. The quilting was done by hand. Quilting stitches average 12 stitches per inch, counting both the top and bottom stitches. I have seen no fabric deterioration, holes, or worn spots. This quilt would make an excellent addition to your collection. I appreciate that buyers would like to buy for the best price possible, but half-price offers are never considered or acknowledged. Thanks for understanding.
