It features an open face closure and has a 12-hour dial with Arabic numerals as well as an additional seconds dial. The watch is Grade 912, is mechanical (manual), and has 17 jewels. The former owner attached a photo of their sweetheart to the inside of the case back, which adds to the watch's character. I'm sure this could be removed with some Goo Gone if so desired.
