Talks about how to furnish and decorate each room. The kitchen is the best its so outdated compared to today. Also talks about laundry, sewing, gardening, has a section on the different types of homes you can buy like bungalows or garlows (what we call granny flats in California today) which is a house in the backyard of another house but very small meant for 1 person. The houses in the book also have suggested floor plans and design tips. Most pages are black and white but 1 pages in each section is in color. Book has some damage, the cover and outside binding are very worn, but all pages inside are still firmly attached. There are several stains on the cover and one goes through the upper right hand cover and onto the several of the front pages. Measures 10 x 14 inches. Like what you see?
