Description: 1920-30's Golfer a pen and ink illustration depicting 3 golfers on the green with their caddies and an observer against an English Tudor style clubhouse in the background. It is comes with it's original frame and glass cover. Provenance of McEwan estate [1930-1960] and Chu estate [1960-2017] in San Francisco, California. The glass has a film and some spots of dust. Upon close observation I found significant but uniform yellow discoloration in the matting and the illustration along with some trace scuffing and watermarks, there is some minor tearing in the paper backing, and I have not opened the item to locate an artist signature, date, or title. I do not consider myself an expert in the matters of "Art" but in my opinion this piece is intact in its original state and in good condition with most imperfections attributed to age. All photos have a light reflection off the glass that is not a true representation of this piece, my fault. General measurements: length- 19", width- 14 7/8", thickness- 5/8", and weight- 2 lbs. 6 ounces. The item was part of an estate in probate in 1960 and came into my possession in 2017 during sale of the family house. The house was built 1929-30. I package all item with recycled shipping material.
