Description: My mother told me how in the 1920's photographers would hire small planes to fly low over farms to snap pictures in the South and Midwest, sometimes on commission but often on speculation. After purchase the pictures were hand colored and then framed. This frame is a beautiful one but not the original. It has non-glare glass. Size is about 17 and 1/2 inches by 14 and 1/2 inches by 1 and 1/4th inches. i am basing the 1920's date on my mother's information.
