This lovely little quilt was a quilt that a girl would have brought to boarding school! You can see her school number sewn on the corners! This quilt dates c1920, the front fabric is SPOT on 1920~ floral with polka ground in mustard, its STUNNING use of color!! The backing is a soft flannel , worn softly with time . This quilt has a thick cotton batting between the layers. MEASUREMENTS : This lovely textile measures 52 inches by approx. 52 inches CONDITION: This piece is in as found, not freshly laundered condition for collectors ( most collectors prefer to wash the textiles themselves) . This quilt can be washed in the machine on gentle cycle or dry cleaned. The flannel backing has little nubs from wear. There are some pale marks on the backing that should wash beautifully ~ This quilt has sighs of time and use to be expected for its age, often inherent in these wonderful antique textiles ~*~ Inventory : EQ 808 20220403
