Description: 1918 No. 23 Hospital The Dalles Oregon Wasco County chidren stairs old car and garage. I got the age of post card by the license plate being 1918. So the color photo is what I just pulled from Google maps. The remains of the garage are seen to the left lower. When the hospital was razed and new medical put in the stairs went away. I wonder how the people felt about stairs being between their house and garage and people coming and going? On second thought I bet less bothered than many today who would not like it. Anything that cannot be bent or twisted USPS will charge you a package rate, and it is more in person retail at the post office. If the envelope is rigid & non bendable it gets billed a package rate.
