Description: For sale is an absolutely precious old watercolor of a wooded scene with creek running through it. It is an extraordinarily appealing image. It's well laid out given the dimensions and vertical orientation. It seems utterly complete with just a wedge of visual field. This is over 100 years old and the frame has seen better days. The corners have gaps and the bottom piece is missing a large sliver. There are dozens of dirt specks under the glass. Outer dimensions are approximately 6 x 19". In many respects, the back is the most special part. The whole shebang is being held together (and doing a pretty good job) by wide aged tape on the back. On this tape is a touching story. A certain young couple was married on a certain day. And the young minister named Jerry from Grace Methodist Church painted the picture for a wedding gift. I got this at an estate sale in Nashville but the family appeared to have been crazy Fighting Illini fans!
