Description: Here we have a very scarce authentic antique original unposted postcard produced in 1913 for the Austrian Adriatic Exhibition in Vienna with artwork by WIENERWERKSTAETTE artist, Bertold Loffler (1874-1960, Austrian.) It is in excellent or better unposted antique condition. As stated on card, printed on Kilophot GMBH (Vienna) paper; published by Albert Berger (Vienna.) Google translates text on front as: Adriatic Exhibition, Vienna, 1913; and on the back as: Austrian Adriatic Exhibition, Vienna 1913, Official Postcard. This postcard is from a set of six Loffler cards issued for the Exhibition. We have two others from the set (see last photo showing all three together, but note that this listing is for the single postcard pictured in the rest of the photos.) Very fresh and clean piece in overall excellent-plus or better antique condition, with the lightest possible edge and corner wear as shown in the photos. Any issues beyond that, if they exist, are highlighted in close-up photos. Nothing sticky or otherwise gross, and no funky odors. Lies nice and flat. Penciled-in collector's price note on back.
