Description: A project begun by S.P. Dinsmoor (civil war vet, frontier farmer and small town populist politician) in 1907 lasted until his death in 1932. 11 room home, the trees in the yard and his sculptures were built from either limestone or concrete. Large collection of early images for this famous roadside environ includes (13) exteriors of both house and artwork and (2) interiors. All show heavy wear, soiling, round corners, occasional creases and scrapbook residue. Several Cabin Home text on reverse w/ 1915 date.
