Description: 1909 Kammer & Reinhardt 10" Gretchen. This is a SUPER RARE K * R porcelain doll. She has intaglio eyes, her original human hair wig, dimpled chin, beautiful face paint, and a composition body. She is strung and jointed at the neck, shoulders, ball jointed elbows, wrists, hips and knees, but her joints are loose and need to be restrung. Marked on the back of her head: K * R, 114, 26. There was a repair to her right hand and fingers, and both legs from the knees down have been repainted to cover flaking and cracking. Her clothing is very old, but I do not believe it to be original. However, her underwear could very well be original. This doll has an absolutely gorgeous face. No odors. And, with FREE SHIPPING!!
