Description: I purchased this coin from the British coin company and auction house Sovereign Rarities in 2020 in the hopes of putting together a Rupee collection with each British monarch. I never put a set together, so I've decided to sell the piece. The grade, 63, is near the top of the pack for this Calcutta minted Rupee. The monarch, Edward VII, reigned for eight short years, and not many of his Rupees survive in such a state of preservation. It's a gleaming white coin that ties the together the history of Britain and that of the Indian subcontinent. This is my coin Verify NGC Certification | NGC (ngccoin.com) This is a coin in the same grade that sold at auction for $480 last SeptemberINDIA. Rupee, 1908-B. Bombay Mint. Edward VII.
