Description: Blown into a mold by mouth with a hand tool finished crown top, photo #4, (seam line stops about 1 1/2 inches from the top, tool marks where the crown was shaped), photo #5, 8-B on the heel of the bottle (date code for 1908 and plant code for Belleville, Illinois), photo #6, 4 raised dots on the shoulder forming a diamond on each side of the bottle (possibly where a label was affixed), the base is marked AB-Connected which is either the manufacturers mark for Adolphus Busch Glass Manufacturing Company or the American Bottle Company, the two companies merged around 1905 and the marked may have been used by both. It is believed most of these bottles were made for Budweiser but not all of them. also on the base under the manufacturer's mark, P-12. Aqua glass, no chips or cracks. some minor cloudiness, but nicer in hand, 12 oz., 9 1/2 inches tall. 2 1/2 inches in diameter at the base.
