Description: Very unusual, set of two, framed 1908 Model T cars wall art. The wheels of the cars are made from matching watch faces and the body of the cars are various little gold pieces of different clocks and/or watches. The little Model Ts are approximtely 3 1/4" long and are highlighted by a 4" black oval background, which is surrounded by a gold mat. Frame is a 5 X 7 glossy Mahogany-like wood with gold accents along the inner and outer edges with a 60s decor look. The backs of the frames are in very good condition. No visible scratches, tears or chips. Tag on one of the frames reads "Hand Made from Clocks & Watches by Rashty" These would make a perfect gift for someone who loves antiques cars, watches, clocks or all three! I've researched "Rashty" and have not been able to find any information on this artist, but found other artists who created similar artwork dating in the early 1970s.
