Description: I have for sale a medal for the dedication of the 1906 Pennsylvania capitol building in Harrisburg, Pa. The medal is aluminum, it is 1 3/4 inches in diameter and in a high grade circulated condition, it does have a small spot at the H on the obverse, and it does have a hole at the top rim, which I believe is normal for this medal. The obverse in the center shows the new capitol building. Above the building it reads IN COMMEMORATION - OF THE - DEDICATION OF THE NEW CAPITOL. Below the building it reads OCT. 4, A.D. 1906 - OF PENNSYLVANIA - AT - HARRISBURG. The reverse at the rim reads SAMUEL W. PENNYPACKER GOV. - THEDORE ROOSEVELT PRES. - EDWARD Z. GROSS MAYOR. In the center, it shows the old capitol building and above the building it reads DEDICATED JAN. 2, 1822 - BURNED FEB. 2, 1897.
