Description: 1905 Official Lewis & Clark Centennial Exposition Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon Rare vintage 1905 Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition sterling souvenir spoon fresh from a local estate. We believe this is the official spoon with the sighting of the Pacific scene, (similar to the official Lewis & Clark Centennial “So-Called Dollar” token), stamped in the bowl. Top of the spoon features images of Lewis and Clark as well as the name of the city that hosted the Expo, Portland. The back of the spoon has images of famous places in Oregon such as Mt Hood and Multnomah Falls. The lower portion of the spoon back has the makers hallmark, the word “Sterling” and “Official”, an image of the signature of Lewis & Clark Exposition 3rd President Henry Goode. The spoon measures about 4 1/8” long and appears in very good condition with light wear and patina commensurate with its age. Please view photos for details and condition as we are not experts in souvenir spoons.
