Description: This richly engraved round brass box is from the 18th & 19th Century Indian collection of noted entrepreneur, corporate consultant and author Cavas Gobhai (Cambridge, Massachusetts) and was collected by him in the 1960s-1980s. The item is in excellent condition with a deep, rich patina. It is engraved on all surfaces including the bottom with sides appearing to show scenes from Indian mythology.
