Description: Fantastic gold and enamel brooch. Hand painted enamel of a noble woman in period costume. Mount is solid 18k gold and very unique. I’m told she’s wearing a dress that’s a mix of different periods that include Tudor and the Medici era. It is signed simply “France” and marked simply “18k”. Total weight is approximately 12g of which the vast majority has to be the gold. Fresh from a high end estate auction of a very good antique jewelry collection. Condition is excellent!
