My Notes: Both volumes in original green cloth hardcover with gold spine titles. Front and rear boards have some self wear, some small white spots, etc. Spines are darkened and show some wear at head and foot. Internally, there is a previous owner's stamp to both front pastedowns. Also an old bookseller's stamp. Volume I has a laid in letter with previous owner's provenance dated 1911. Some foxing to end sheets. Content is near fine. Many fold outs. Interesting Civil War history. Overall a very good set. Book will be safely packaged and promptly shipped.
