Description: 1896 Patent Page Fence of Adrian Michigan. Made by Whitehead & Hoag. Beginning in 1895 Page Fence owner John Wallace Page had a barnstorming baseball team. It was made up of African American players. Many the best of the era and Baseball HOF’ers. Page hired only white players after 1899. Stains, toning and wear. About 7/8 inch.
