It measures approx. 5 1/2" x 8 1/4"*Ephraim Baker (1836-1919) operated a general store in Mount Olive, Shenandoah County, Virginia for most of his adult life. This is part of a collection of Checks, billheads and letterheads mostly from purchases from wholesale merchants for inventory for Baker's store. His store was used at one point as a hospital during the Civil War. He also served as Mt. Olive Postmaster from 1874 to 1889 and 1895 1898.
