Description: This pretty decorative figurine was sold by the National Association of Avon Clubs during the year of 1976. The hand painted porcelain figurine is approximately 7 1/2 inches tall (once the head is inserted into the body) and is a replica of an 1896 Avon Lady. The head has a cork on one end which inserts into the body of the figurine. NOTE: Once the cork is inserted into the body, it will NOT come out. Also, when inserting the cork into the body, you may want to grease the cork with vaseline to make the cork moist so it doesn't break during insertion. There were only 5,622 of these figurines made and this figurine is #5060. There are no knicks or chips in the item and it comes in the original Styrofoam packaging.
