Description: This is superb 19th century Victorian carriage parasol/umbrella. It is made in fine black silk, wood (possibly mahogany center) and has mother of pearl and brass ornate handle.The mechanism of the umbrella is in working condition but I am afraid to open it to the end.The cover is not original and it is a littles smallerThe silk is damaged at one of the edges and it is very fragile. It has some rip - please refer to the pictures.The umbrella is 33 1/2" tall when folded.This is really unique antique piece from Victorian era and it will has a special place in any collection Check out my other items!
