Sheffield is renowned for manufacturing of fine knives. It was manufacture during Queen Victoria era ( 1837 - 1901 ) This knife is made using a Nogent-style process ( blade, bolster, and rat-tail tang are forged from a single piece of steel and fitted with a handle ). It has the blade hand forged from the fine carbon steel & tempered to achieve greater toughness providing the long-lasting keen edge cut-ability.
