Definitely museum quality!.....OL.LAURIN black letters on gold label with glass cover in sunken square panel on front of jar....Thick heavy porcelain....Jar itself is 5"tall (7 1/2"with cover)....3 1/2"round...White....Excellent condition with no chips, hairlines or damage of any kind to jar or cover. Some age darkening on bottom half of jar. This 150 year old apothecary jar comes out of our own personal collection, and originally came from an early drug store in Jacksonville, Illinois, along with a bunch of other 1860s and 1870s jars, bottles, etc..
