He was a French caricaturist and engraver. He provided many illustrations for Victorian era publications. Published in "Every Saturday" July 1870, dated on engraving is a VERY LARGE 14" x 11" inches in size with good margins. It is in very nice condition even for being 150+ years old. Has one corner fault - Slight handling and age faults. Engraving has great detail and an good impression.
