Externally sound with shelf wear, chipping with considerable loss to spine, marks to boards, bumped to extremities. Previous owner's gift inscription dated "Xmax 1868" to title page. Internally, firmly bound. Minor light spotting to endpapers, otherwise pages bright and clean.
