Description: I found this 1864 dated document yesterday that I didn't realize I still owned. It's for a person, a conscript, in Georgia made to do work for the engineer corps in the Confederate army.It's unclear to me whether the person is an owned person or not but it's a really neat document, very colorful and showy, and in excellent condition. It also has an impressed, raised marking in the middle which states " CSA HEADQUARTERS CONSCRIPT SERVICE GEORGIA". Would look GREAT if framed! Red on beige paper and really nice condition with little horseman at top, etc. About 6.5 x 4.5 inches. Never before offered for sale.
