Map shows specific areas of triangulation work along the Columbia River, Gray Harbor, the Puget Sound, including Duwamish Bay (Elliott Bay) and Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, and a number of other features and locations along the coast. Shows detailed triangulation work, including various types of stations, and quite a bit of of coastal detail. The chart was produced under the supervision of A. D. Bache, Superintendent of the U.S. Coast Survey (and grandson of Benjamin Franklin). Condition: Folding chart in good antique condition, nice impression on sturdy, age-toned paper, slightly darkened along the folds one light spot in center of map.
