Description: Awesome looking 145+ year old wooden trade sign. Single beveled pine board. Square nail holes help to date this untouched 19th century object. Originally double sided and hung outdoors, one side has taken the brunt of the weather. Gilt letters on a black ground with just the right amount of patina make this a real statement piece. Found in Illinois. It's getting harder to find untouched signs of this era, and this is a nice affordable example. SIZE: 41" x 6" CONDITION: Overall great. Untouched weathered surfaces with expected aging and wear. As-is. Please use photos and description to determine condition. QUESTIONS: If you have any questions about any of my listings, please try to ask at least 6 hours before the end of the auction so that I have time to answer them. I try my best to answer all questions promptly, but I am not always at my computer in the last few hours before auctions end. SHIPPING: US buyers pay for INSURED USPS shipping. I ship within 1-2 business days after receiving cleared payment. PAYMENT: PayPal. TERMS: Payment must be received within 2 days.
