Description: For sale is a cool 1856-O Seated Liberty Half Dollar. The Seated Liberty Half Dollar had a long run from 1839 - 1891 and at the time was the most popular US coin design in that it was used for the half dime, the dime, quarter, half dollar, and dollar. Like all Seated Liberty Half Dollars it is 90% silver.As you can see the coin is in really good shape, and it would come in at a nice VG grade. The date, mint mark, and all lettering are present and sharp. The coin has a nice ash patina to it and it has no excessive damage and it has not been cleaned. I do have multiple coins available in the exact same grade and condition if you were interested in buying more than one. They have varying degrees of toning, but they are all VG grade.
