Previous owner's name and ink stamp on front free endpaper. There is some foxing. A copy with clean interior having no markings, writing, underlining, or highlighting in margins or text block. Robert B. Davidson (1808-1876) was a Presbyterian minister and son of Robert Davidson, the second President of Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. He was also the author of a number of volumes, the largest and best known of which is his History of the Presbyterian Church in Kentucky.
