Description: The History of New Ipswich, from the First Grant in MDCCXXXVI [1736], to the Present Time. Boston: Gould and Lincoln 1852. The map is present, laid in, heavily worn and torn with extensive tape repair (presumably supplied from another copy at some point, because there is a stub/fragment of the same map bound in). The boards and spine are almost detached from the textblock (actually sown together in places at the hinges); very heavy external wear all around. Pages have lots of foxing, smudges, creases, pencil notes, discoloration from inserts, some stains, other blemishes. Some notes and clippings laid in. Fair condition.
