Ornate gold guilt on spine and gold gilt book title on spine. The page edges are marbled as well, to match the front and rear boards--a very unique feature. The leather has some minor bumping, rubbing and hairline cracking. There is very minor (1/16 inch) leather loss at the top and bottom of the spine. The marbled paper covered front and rear boards show some minor rubbing and bumping with slight color loss in a few spots. The four book corners remain relatively sharp with a tiny amount of leather loss at the very corner tips. Normal dust dulling to top of the page edges. The outside (leather) hinges have very minor leather flaking from age and minor use, not effecting their functionality--the front and rear book hinges remain in good working condition. INTERIOR CONDITION The front and rear paste down pages (and front and rear first fly leaf pages) are marbled paper, matching the exterior covers and exterior page edges. The text block is in tight, (and what appears to be) unread condition with no ink, pencil or folded corners. The pages are slightly and evenly age toned with little to no foxing.
