Written by Annie Webb-Peploe, a British writer who published under the name "Mrs. J.B. Webb". CONDITION In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Front hinge tender with cords visible. Frontispiece and front endpaper may detach with further handling. Internally, generally firmly bound with some pages loosening. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Contemporary ink inscription and bookseller's label to the front pastedown.
