Description: This collectible item from the 1840s features the Goulding Co. of New York, from an Odd Fellows organization. It is signed Goulding New York and is a unique piece of historical memorabilia. The item was manufactured in the United States and boasts a beautiful multi-insignia design. This is a must-have for any fraternal organization collector or lover of unique historical items. This is for one sword. The sword is handmade by the W R Goulding surgical company of New York. The Goulding Company New York also made knifes bedside surgical instruments. These are 31 inches in length. The blades is 2 inches wide. These are very heavy. The quality of these is incredible. The handles are wood and brass inlaid. The handles are 7 inches long and 6 1/2 inches across from brass heart to heart. This is a great find for an advanced knife or fraternal collector. The only information I was told about these from the seller is that they were made for a New York lodge in the late 1840s. The blades have a couple of very small nicks (see photos).
