Externally, sound with rubbing and wear to the extremities. Minor loss to the head and tail of the spine as well as the board edges. A puncture mark to the front board of volume II. Joints cracked and tender. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with the odd spot and light age toning to the extremities. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown.
