Borel was the college assessor of the S. M. Emperor of all Russia, and was head of the Azi Division Ministry of Commerce. This work follows on from his 'L'Origine et des Fonctions des Consuls'. With an armorial stamp to the verso of front endpaper. This work is dedicated to Nicolas de Romanzoff, or Nokolay Rumyantsev, the minister of Commerce whom was influential with Alexander I. CONDITION In contemporary boards. Externally, sound with light rubbing to the extremities. Split in the paper to the front joint. Stamp to the verso of front endpaper. Pencil inscription to the half title. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
