Mercer, Trenton, Delaware River, Hessians, Gen. Mawhood, Stamp Act, Edmund Burke, New York, Peekskill, Philadelphia, Telemachus, Gen. Tryon, Danbury, Norwalk, Connecticut, Gen. Arnold, Ridgefield, Guy Carleton, Crown Point, Captain Cook content including his Recipe for Spruce-Beer, Newport, Rhode Island, Continental Congress, Voltaire, Hume, and a great deal more. The volume is not, to say the least, in ideal shape, with the leather spine worn away leaving the text loose and in blocks - pages are detached, separated or separating, the binding does not hold here, and the old marbled paper has worn off the boards as well. Internally things are better, pages are a bit toned and worn with some dog-earing but mostly still rather neat and clean. Missing a few pages - last few index pages as well as p.63/64, p.73/74 & p.75/76. Not certain what is missing in the engraving department due to lack of last index pages along with a lack of any other copies to be found with which to compare and check.
