Description: Custom built model of a WW1 Fokker DrI Triplane German fighter airplane. Famous as the airplane, among others, flown by the "Red Baron" Baron Manfred von Richthofen of Germany, top WW1 ace with 80x victories in the air. The tripple wing design coupled with the rotary engine gave this aircraft outrageous maneuverability! Fokker was a very prodigious supplier of new designs and this was one of his most successful and best known. This is a scale model collectors item to be handled and unpacked with care, not a childs toy to be played with! Has small and sharp parts that could break off if mishandled. Buyer should expect the possibility of small parts coming detached in shipment but model is well built and will be carefully packed (check my feedback) and damage is quite unlikely.
