An evenly inked, early example, all of the detail is crisp and clear, with excellent tonal contrast. The item comes from the "Evangelicae Historiae Imagines" of Hieronymus Natalis (Nadal), an important Jesuit Counter-Reformation treatise first published in 1593. Incredible detail!
