16# Vntg Crackle Ice Glass 1" Shooters Berry Pink Marble King Marbles WOW NICE!

Description: Unusual & Awesome Estate Find: a 16#box of Berry Pink vintage crackle fried iced marbles in various colors of clear, turquoise blue, green, pink rose, and red. The majority are clear, turquoise blue and green. The marbles are approximately 7/8" to 1" in diameter (shooters) and we believe they are new and never played with. The crackled glass marbles came in a box from "Berry Pink Industries, Inc., First Avenue, Paden City, W. VA." which is home to Marble King marbles. Marble King used glass scraps from such renowned glass makers as Wissmach Glass Co. also from Paden City, W. VA and Blenko Glass Co. from nearby Milton, W.VA. Examining the marbles, I see bright and beautiful Blenko colors, do you?! Marble King was originally located in St. Marys, West Virginia, but in January of 1958 a fire destroyed the factory. Roger Howdyshell, who managed the Marble King facility, moved the company to Paden City where it still remains to this day producing in excess of a million marbles per day. We estimate our marbles were made between 1958 and 1963. This is a unique find, the crackled glass marbles are mostly in the " to 1" size, in great condition and includes the original box from Berry Pink Industries, though the box shows significant wear, but does retain the address for authentication. Use the lovely [Blenko Glass??] Berry Pink/Marble King marbles for decorative projects or games. Let your imagination dictate how you use them. They glisten and are so very pretty!I measured the box and the depth of the marbles in the box is about 3". The box is approximately 9" long x 8" wide. You won't often find vintage crackle marbles in this quantity again! Thank you for looking!
