Description: 15" Crates Equi-Fit Show Reining Saddle w/ Tack 15" Crates Equi-Fit Show Reining Saddle w/ Tack This great saddle is absolutely stunning, in exceptional condition, and has such a high end look that is more than welcome in the modern show pen. This is the PERFECT marriage between a reiner, show, and trail saddle. This one is a 15.5" tree, but with a slightly raised twist and padding, fits true to 15". The seat bed really sits you on your pockets and offers plenty of comfy padding. Per serial number (#385) this one is built on Arab QH bars that offers a TON of flare, nice rock, measuring a generous 7". Don't let the word "Arab" scare you away. All that means is this one has shorter bars and a bit more rock to the bars, fitting many different breeds well. Built on a Steele Equi-Fit tree, is fiberglass wrapped wood, so is both durable and not quite as heavy. Shorter skirt than most reiners at just 26". 2.5" reiner horn, 3.5" cantle, slightly set back rigging to open up the shoulder. Free swinging fenders, going surprisingly short-in fact this one was a youth rider's saddle for years. In a rich, dark oiled coloed leather that is quite soft, with a stunning classic sunflower/floral tooling pattern. All silver is great quality, appears to be actual silver plated and shows less tarnish than you'd expect given its age. To somehow make this saddle even better, this one comes with all matching tack including rear rigging and back cinch, bridle, and breast collar. All also from Crates and matches perfectly. Despite being a 1993 model, this saddle has been incredibly well cared for. Stored inside, conditioned often, and shows less use than you'd expect from an older saddle. Other than a few scuffs, scrapes and a teeny bit of discoloration on the seat, you'd never expect this saddle is old enough to have to be considered an 'elder millennial'.
