Wooden-framed and double matted small print of the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours event poster featuring artist Ken Eberts' depiction of the trio of Ford GT40s that swept the podium at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. This piece was displayed in the retail areas at the Concours that year. In honor of the 50th anniversary of the 1966 victory, the 2016 Concours featured all of the GT40s that won a major international raceand many of the distinguished drivers who drove these racing icons. Before turning his attention to motorsports art, Ken Eberts was a designer at Ford Motor Company, whose dream was to help design the GT40. But the dream was unfulfilled when Eberts left Ford to pursue a career in fine art. So, it is fitting that all these years later, Ebertsthe founder of the Automotive Fine Arts Society (AFAS) was commissioned to paint the artwork for this years Concours poster.
