Description: Beginning in 1919, the National Geographic Society launched its National Geographic School Bulletin for elementary schoolchildren. It was published weekly during the school year, from September through the beginning of May, usually a total of 30 issues. In a broad sense, the publication was designed as a children’s version of National Geographic. In September 1975, it discontinued the Bulletin and replaced it with a new children’s magazine, National Geographic World. We began a subscription of this educational magazine for our son at the start of 1973. You are getting 14 of the 15 issues for the second half of the 1972-1973 school year (No’s 16 – 30, missing only #26). These are thin magazines, usually about 15 pages, and are filled with color and black & white pictures and easily understandable educational descriptions. Without carefully going through each issue page by page, all fourteen issues have the mailing label on the back cover and appear to be in GOOD CONDITION, with minor wear from being read, and little or no writing or other marks inside or out.Considering the online price of single issues, getting these fourteen issues for $8.99 plus shipping is a real bargain!
