Description: This is a 14 day personal set collected by an employee from The Art of Shaving, a shaving store. The set was meant to include the best handles but also a wide variety of different materials. The first two razors are made of acrylic, one being German from the Dovo company and the other being French from Thiers-Issard. The set only shows off these two companies to show the contrast between German and French engineering and design, but please keep in mind these are the two best straight razor companies in the world and both make remarkable products. The third is french and stainless steel. The weight of this particular razor is an entirely different experience. The fourth is French and made of bocote wood. This particular one was chosen for its dark color and contrasting black stripes. The fifth is boxwood with an irish floral etching, made with a burning needle tool. This straight razor is also french. The sixth is German and made from dark grenadine wood with a gold leafy back lay. A fun fact is that german straight razors have rounded heads and the french have points at the end of the razor handle. The seventh to tenth are all german and made from bovine horn with a hold inlay along the spine. these ones were all hand selected to be the best looking. The black is very deep and beautiful while the white pops in contrast. They are all stunning. The rest are all French and also made of bovine horn. Again these were all picked for their exquisite color and design. However, these have succumbed to some light stains, which is why i labeled them as slightly damaged. This is something that can be fixed though but i also have them pictured to show the extent. Again, this damage is only on the last 5 horn razors. All the razors are new and unused. The box that holds them all is Italian and is specifically made to hold a 14 day straight razor set.
