Signed and numbered by by artist Cassie BodienThese little wooden peg dolls are created using 6 cm tall dolls, made using unique Australian materials such as hand dyed sheep curls, 100% wool blanket / wool Felt pieces, and handmade pure wool or cotton crochet or knitted hats. Their individual curls are placed strand by strand and attached securely underneath the hat ( however due to the wool fibers it is common for some small stands to pull away.. Not recommended for young children due to choking hazard. All doll are as individual as they look and are original one of a kind designs. Each doll is crafted by hand and so therefore it is difficult to create the exact same doll. The wood base / body of the doll has been stained by hand using natural tannins and sealed in a child safe beeswax polish to give that 'sun-kissed' look. The dolls are perfect for creative play for older children in dolls houses or fairy gardens but are often collected by adults and displayed as part of a home decor feature.
